
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED to BALE CARDBOARD EVERY FRIDAY at the RECYCLING CENTER
Recycling in the Wet Mountain Valley is spearheaded through a partnership of individuals that represent the town of
Westcliffe, the town of Silver Cliff, Custer County Government, Custer County Landfill and members of Sustainable Ways.
The group operates under the name of High Country Recycling and is comprised of community volunteers promoting locals
ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.
The two primary recycling locations in the county are at the landfill and by the Search and Rescue building behind the
Sheriff's Office. There are other locations throughout the county that one can drop off recyclables other than those noted

Tues thru Fri 8 am - 4 pm and Sat 8 am - 12 pm

PLASTIC MUST BE IN A PRE-PURCHASED 40 GALLON BAG AVAILABLE ONLY THRU CLUB AMERICA
CHECK LIDS & TOPS FOR THEIR OWN RECYCLING SYMBOL RINSE EVERYTHING CLEAN AND CRUSH
Please stay in your car, as volunteers will be on hand to get your bag(s) out of the car or trunk.
Additional bags will be for sale at the event.
